Thomas H. McHugh, Jr.
Thomas H. McHugh, Jr. brings over ten years of diverse legal and trial experience to Davis & Associates, LLC as a Project Attorney. Prior to receiving his law degree, Tommy worked extensively with multiple law firms in Providence as a legal assistant, paralegal and law clerk.
Tommy also spent time with the City of Providence prosecuting misdemeanor offenses in District Court, which also included successfully trying multiple bench trials and conducting oral arguments before the Court. In his final year of law school, Tommy represented clients in business-related transactions with the Roger Williams University School of Law Community Economic Development Clinic by providing legal services to nonprofit and community-based businesses in Rhode Island. He worked one-on-one with nonprofit leaders and small business owners to determine and facilitate their legal needs; including determining the best legal entity choice, and assisting with the filing of organizational documents.
Tommy received a B.S. from Roger Williams University and a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2014. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island (2015), and Massachusetts (2015).
Tommy is a past board member of the Fox Point/East Side Little League in Providence, Rhode Island (2003-2010). He also presented at Johnson & Wales University’s Fall 2014 Entrepreneurship Boot Camp counseling students about important legal considerations impacting startup companies.
